A Sozo Collectiv Girls’ Leadership & Health Career Pathway Program

HER Impact is changing to H.E.R. Collectiv in 2026! This revamped vision is a girls’ leadership and healthcare career immersion program for middle and high school students. This virtual-first initiative equips young women with early exposure to healthcare careers, mentorship from health professionals, leadership development, and opportunities to advocate for health equity in their own communities.

Who It Serves:
Girls in grades 7–12, especially from underrepresented, underserved, or first-generation backgrounds.

Highlights:

Virtual mentorship with women health leaders

Career exploration across 15+ healthcare fields (including STEM & Informatics)

Group community health advocacy project

H.E.R. Leadership Essay

Digital badges & certificate

Scholarship eligibility

University partnership track

Why it Matters:

Women — especially young women of color — remain underrepresented in many healthcare leadership, research, and policy roles. H.E.R. Collectiv addresses this by building early confidence, exposure, and leadership identity rooted in equity and wellness.

The Art of Asking Why

A School Administrator's Guidebook

"The Art of Asking Why",  authored by Attorney Ashleigh Thompson, provides school administrators with helpful information and tools for combating the school-to-prison pipeline (SPP). The goal of the guidebook is to begin building a bridge between the school system and the various arms of law enforcement, as it is the responsibility of educators and law enforcers alike to protect and serve our communities—and the children who are raised within them.

“In order for us as a people to become a part of a society that is meaningful, the system under which we now exist has to be radically changed. It means facing a system that does not lend itself to your needs and devising means by which you can change that system. That is easier said than done.”
